Coral Gables Farmers Market
At the request of our customers we will be at the Coral Gables Farmers Market from 8:00 to 1:00 p.m. on the following dates: February 25, 2005 and March 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2005.
The Market is located in front of Coral Gables City Hall, 405 Biltmore Way. Free parking is available. Come and try some of our new flavors.
Miami-Dade Parks 2005 Ribfest
Miami-Dade Parks 2005 Ribfest November 4-6 at Homestead Air Reserve Park, Moody Drive (SW 268th St and 122nd Ave Homestead). Exciting 3-day outdoor grilling extravaganza of local and national Ribbers. Features live nationally known entertainment, motorcycle show, arts and crafts vendors and etc. etc. petting zoo, various games. The entertainment features the rock group REWIND on Friday. Saturday features rock acts John Kay and Steppenwolf and Deep South featuring Artimus Pyle and Ed King of Lynyrd Skynrd with classic songs such as Freebird and Sweet Home Alabama, Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie with songs like Red Hot Chicken and Keep on Smilin, Dean Daughtry and Robert Nix of the Atlanta Rhythm Section with hits like So Into You, and Imaginary Lover, and Jeff Carlisi of .38 Special perfoming songs such as Hold on Loosely and Rockin' Into the Night. Country music singer Tracy Lawrence closes out the event on Sunday with such chart-topping hits as Sticks and Stones and Time Marches On.
International Orchid Festival
International Orchid Festival @ Fairchild's Botanical Gardens
April 1-3, 2005, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Local., national and international vendors will be selling thousands of orchid plants in the magnificent outdoor setting of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. The Orchid Society of Coral Gables will sponsor a display in the Garden House. Educational lectures, demonstrations and walking tours will also be offered at the 3rd annual International Orchid Festival.

The Tropical Fruit Growers of South Florida is joining forces with the Southern Florida Tropical Growers, Inc. and the Miami-Dade Fruit & Spice Park to present the Tropical Ag Fiesta 2005 , Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the beautiful Fruit & Spice Park .
